Had a couple random epiphanies just now but my laptop's already shut down so I'm blogging from the iMac and letting my hair dry as well. Haha.

1. You can never make it anywhere if you're alone and don't want anyone in your life.

I mean who can take all the shit and swallow it down without letting other people know their emotions? Unless they are psychotic/ have a super strong will/ have outrageously good luck. Hengyi doesn't believe in depending on anyone cause he thinks that no one can do a better job than himself as he's the only one who knows how he wants the job to be done, so to avoid disappointment he chooses to be super independent and well, in plain words, a loner. I tried to convince him that in order to be successful in both work and family aspect and stay sane at the same time, he'll have to depend on someone. Well, my mum had my dad and my dad had my mum when my dad had to travel to Japan and back to Singapore for the past 20 years. Their relationship wouldn't have survived if they didn't trust and depended on each other for emotional support right?

He has friends but he doesn't depend on them for company and can go through a day without talking to anyone. Weirdo. Why did I like such a person in the first place? Oh ya, cause we have the same crappy sense of humour. Roll eyes.

2. No one is to be entirely blamed for a problem.

It takes 2 hands to clap. If one party wants to resolve it but the other doesn't then there's no way of getting a solution. Misunderstandings will continue and more things will add on resulting in the end of relationship/ friendship/ whatever ship. Before finding a solution for a problem, there's the creation of the problem. As I said, it takes 2 hands to clap.
