Chengdu trip cont..
Day 5!
We went to some famous old town which was quite touristy.
Traditional opera show.
She was making the fillings for tang yuan.
Guess what's that! No prizes though. Haha.
It's some traditional candy called mai ya tang. We have this in Singapore too but not the "wheel of fortune" thing you see on both sides of his stall. You can pay RMB3 which is around 60cents to take a spin and see what animal or fruit you get and he'll use the mai ya tang and make it for you. Well I didn't want to spin cause I wanted the dragon (which is the biggest and hardest to make) so we just paid RMB8 ($1.60) and he made it for me.
How awesome is this!
It was super nice and super huge! I totally couldn't finish it, only ate like 3/4 of it.
Whole lot of us.
Puppy!
Super chinese looking puppy. Haha.
OMG. Mahjong!
Went to visit the largest Buddha statue in the world.
Do you see a man sleeping? Yeaps, MAN not woman. Firstly, no boobs and secondly, he's got an erection. LOL!
Day 6! Didn't take much photos cause Mount Emei was all FOGGY and COLD and WET!
The high tech cable car (which can bring 100 people up the mountain in 5mins) was under maintenance. FML. We had to queue like more than 1hour for the small ones (2 seater), which took more than 15mins to get us up.
Me and my aunt shared one.
SEE! Super foggy can! When we went up we couldn't even see a freaking thing hence no photos.
After we got down from the peak.
My shoe totally chui! Threw it away.
Oh ya! Vestiges won Best Online Shop for Shoes by Chic Magazine's annual list thing. Thanks for all the support people! I'm going to their birthday party at Supperclub later on.
