Some Harry Potter stuff I came across when my lecturer got tad too boring. It's so funny I was trying very hard not to laugh out loud during my lecture. LOL.

Ahh. I'm such a geek at heart.

I was handing out candy for Halloween. A little boy dressed up as Harry Potter came by and as he was walking up the driveway he dropped his wand. I told him he dropped his wand and he looks at me and shouted “ACCIO WAND!” and twitched his hand (which had a string attached to the wand and to his finger) and his wand came shooting up to his hand. He got the rest of my Halloween candy and 5 dollars.

Today, I was driving my Harry Potter obsessed 7 year old niece to the park to play with her. We were at a stoplight and it was taking a long time. Being impatient she yelled, “Sammie! Make the stoplight turn green!” I told her to say please, once she did I told her that I would see what I could do. Once I saw the light on the other side of the intersection turn red, I yelled ‘LUMOS GREEN!’ Needless to say, our stoplight turned green and my niece rode the rest of the drive with her mouth wide open in amazement.

 

 

Today, my sister asked if she could have a copy of my Harry Potter soundtrack. When I asked her why she simply responded, “I want to listen to it while I’m on the train to Chicago so I can pretend I’m actually going to Hogwarts”. I have taught her well.

 

 

Today, I was watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. At the point where Cedric is murdered, I sent a text to my Twilight obsessed friend saying Robert Pattinson had died. I had her completely convinced and she was freaking out until she asked how he had died. I told her Avada Kedavra. She refused to talk to me after that.

 

 

Today, my boyfriend embarrassedly admitted that one of the reasons he asked me out is that I look like Ginny Weasley. I started to laugh hysterically. He looked offended until I calmed myself enough to explain that one of the reasons I accepted him is that he looks like Harry Potter.

 

 

A little while ago, I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with my sister, mom, and dad. When the movie characters raised their wands at the end to remember Dumbledore, my dad slowly raised his drinking straw, and was followed by the entire filled IMAX theater.

 

 

Today, my friends and I went to Starbucks wearing our Harry Potter scarves, hats, and ties. As the Barista handed me my cup, he leaned in and whispered,”Off to Hogwarts?” I said,”Yeah, actually.” Later, I looked at my receipt and not only was everything priced way less than it usually is, but there was a note that read: “See you there.”

 

The dad with the drinking straw totally killed me! OMG. So funny! How I wish my parents watch HP with me and actually understand what MUGGLES mean!

WOOHOO! Just booked tickets for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for this Sunday!! Its tradition that me and my secondary school gang of friends would watch together for every single film! However, Quanlong is in India for his graduation trip. The plans are a bit fuzzy now. We'll see. =)

Anyhoos, I just found out who's this year's MSU winner (announced in May I know I'm slow!) and I'm quite disappointed. My favourite winner so far since 2000 till now is Cheryl Tay cause she's smart (she's a VET and I remembered vaguely that her Q&A was really good), her bod's hot and she's not shallow. Oh well, it seems like having fake boobs and thick make up will guarantee you a spot in the semis. Is Singapore so LACK of woman like Cheryl Tay? Most probably its just that they don't bother to waste their time on stuff like MSU.

That's what the entertaining business is about huh? As long as its entertaining, everything else is forgotten.

Fake personalities, fake smiles, fake hugs.

And the worst thing is we (the consumers) are actually feeding the industry by buying all the gossip magazines and what nots (I only buy fashion mags FYI).

OMG! I'm conspiring something. So exciting. ROFL.

I JUST FINISHED HARRY POTTER LAST NIGHT! Till 4.30AM! I couldnt HELP IT! The last book is definately my FAVOURITE BOOK out of the seven. BUT the ending's bit too SWEEETTT.

Cant wait for next year's Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

I'm SHAGGED! And i still need to do my HOMEWORK!
