OMG! I'm so happy! After so long (like more than 2 years) my online shop is finally getting recognition. Vestiges is featured in Chic Magazine Issue 22 and 23! I'm so glad that I stopped selling clothes and started shoe preorders (even though I love clothes too) cause there are just too many people trying to start an online shop. I said "try" cause most of the online shops cannot make it anyway, meaning the clothes are horrible cause the owners are bad buyers.

My friend just tweeted saying that "Blogshops are the new bubbletea.."

That should be like quote of the year. So true. By the way I don't consider Vestiges as one of the "blogshops" cause I started way back and I sell shoes. =)

I didn't know that they were going to feature the wedges! My ex-colleague bought that pair from me. Haha.

Issue 23. Chic's One Year Issue!

They did this list thing where they compare different shops for categories like Best Multi-Label Store, Best Accessories Store and etc (you get what I mean). And Vestiges won the Best Online Shop for Shoes! I totally didn't know that I actually won when my ex-colleague asked me to go back to the office for a short photoshoot cause she just told me that I was nominated. So ya, I brought a couple of shoes there, they took some photos and I had to rush to school for my lecture. I only found out that I won when I bought the magazine last Friday and I was super shocked cause I didn't expect that I would win the thing. HOW AWESOME IS THIS! OMG. Hahahaha!

I'd like to thank everyone who have been supporting Vestiges! Thank you so so so much! And of cause my family especially my parents who supported me through everything and gave me the starting capital for Vestiges.

Nothing overly exciting happened for the past 2 days. Well if you consider my brother coming back from Bangkok exciting then THERE YOU GO. The most exciting thing that happened to me for the past 2 days. Haha.

He did buy like a few items for me, I like all of them except one thing. They are like autumn winter wear, all long sleeved. Oh well, must be grateful that he still got me something. THANKS GOR! =)

Here's an update on what I did on Christmas Eve, the day itself and Boxing Day. Nothing much as usual..

Work was alright today. Not much moving around, more of calling up and emailing people. Went to Marina Square to return stuff from various brands though. Though work is tiring, I guess it's rewarding in every way.

I was doing a feature story about digital cameras and had to call up places to get the prices. Every single fucking, no I should say, AWESOME outlets gave me all the prices WITHOUT questioning who I am.

Lets call him SHITHOLE.

Shithole: How many more you want to know? Where are you from?
Me: I'm calling from Chic Magazine and I need to know the prices for a feature story that we're doing.
Shithole: You can't keep asking for all the prices you know, how I know you're not calling from another store to compare prices? If you're from a magazine you need to talk to the management. But the thing is I FUCKING TALKED TO THE MANAGEMENT ALREADY AND THEY TRANSFERRED ME TO YOU, SHITHOLE!
Shithole: The price tags are placed under the cameras, you want to know you come down to check. And now he asks me to go down and check! Even if I got the time, I won't want to go to that shit place!

No more dialogue for me. Why? Cause every time I start to say something, he CUTS ME OFF and continue he's endless shit. Figures.. SHITHOLE WHAT!

I don't remember what else he said already, I was too pissed and he fucking talked to much.
